Why an HDMI cable is needed for the PS3

So you bought a brand new Sony PlayStation 3 to play cool new video games or watch Hi-Def Blu-ray movies. You also just bought a brand new HDTV to play those video games on and watch those crisp clear HD movies. You have your new Sony PS3, HDTV and surround sound system all set up. Now what? Well according to HDMI review if you don’t have an HDMI cable then you’re just not getting the full potential out of your PS3 and HDTV. In order to enjoy your HDTVs full potential and to take advantage of your Blu-ray players improved performance you need an HDMI cable.
