What is Web Analytics?

Web analytics is a term that basically means statistics for your website. Think of it off-line business that has people come through the door in order their products or services. They may know how many people coming in and how much inventory they have. They probably know how many sales they have. I use godaddy hosting for my sites and they provide Web analytics built in. It is a program that can look at everyone it comes to the site and all the visitors. You can also tell me how many people have gone to what pages on the site much like going into a certain area of the store. I can then see what people do as well. What is nice about Web analytics is that the information is created for you and someone does not have to put together. There is no inventory check when it comes to online sites. What a huge timesaver.
