Mormon Doctrine Of Honesty Part Of Thirteen Articles Of Faith

By admin | September 5, 2009

Even though it is not a doctrine unique to Mormons alone, the principle of complete honesty with their fellow man is practiced by the vast majority of Mormons at all times, and in all places, and under all circumstances, as a basic tenant of their faith. The mormon doctrine of honesty is probably what sets them apart from many other peoples, as Mormons believe that dishonesty affects the entire whole of mankind. Being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men, is actually part of the Thirteen Articles of Faith that the prophet Joseph Smith cited as the basic Mormon beliefs.
