INS Fiancé visa explained

By admin | January 28, 2008

INS stands for Immigration and Naturalization Service. After submitting the INS fiancé visa form, it takes about 120 days to process your petition. Before issuing the INS Fiance Visa, an interview will be conducted by the consular officer. Your fiancé will be asked some simple questions and this is to understand whether the beneficiary is eligible or not for the visa. No need to panic for the interview. Consular officer is just trying to understand or verify the details given in the form. Where inconsistencies occur, they would like to get explanations. Their basic questions would be centered on how much understanding you both share among yourselves. The more understanding you both have, more easy is to get an INS fiancé visa.
