A Great Start with Phonics
By admin | February 2, 2010
Right before the first year of school, I wanted to be sure to prepare my son with as many information and knowledge and he’d probably need, or learn. I wanted him to be ready with the phonics reading and sounds, etc, by the time he started school. Turns out, that by the fourth day, the teacher was able to realize that he seemed a bit advance. I told her he is, but do not advance him. He’s just got some background. But there is still more to learn. I taught him a little bit, but there is more to learn in phonics. All parties have understood and we are all satisfied, and thrilled with his progress.
