Using Hurricance Forums

I live on an island off of the coast of Georgia so always try to stay prepared in case a hurricane were to hit. So far this area hasn’t been hit while I have been living here, but there have been a few close calls. I have found a few hurricane forums online that I visit very frequently during hurricane season. The forums are filled with people that have been through multiple storms that freely share their advice and experiences. I have picked up a number of very useful ideas that I have added to my hurricane preparation plan and kit.
