A Travel ‘Scout’: A Great Job.

When I was younger, my mother had a cousin who had the best job in the world.
She was a corporate travel scout for a leading travel company and it was her job to ‘check out’ all the latest and greatest happenings in a city ahead of large company conventions or events.
In a nutshell, she would hop on a plane and go to the hotels and restaurants being considered for upcoming travel packages and rate them.
Of course she had to keep up to date on the latest travel news to make sure she was spending company money wisely. But truly, how cool is that job.
