Dinner was more eventful than I planned.

At dinner, my friend was just going on and on about how worthless her current boyfriend is. They have been living together for two years and dating for three but things are not progressing as she hoped they would. I was shocked to hear her say “I want to get my ex back! He wasn’t nearly was bad as I thought.” I kind of wanted to say, “Told you so!” but I resisted the temptation. She was very much infatuated with her current boyfriend and was very quick to jump into the relationship. I hate that now she is regretting her original decision to date him.
