Before The Divorce

Before the divorce my wife and I went to countless counseling sessions, group therapy classes, you name it and we tried it. While I think that it helped stall off the divorce for a little while I think we were just destined to get a divorce. The best divorce advice I received before even knowing that was the path we were heading for was someone asking me point blank if I was even in the marriage any more. I tried to work hard at getting back into it, but that person was right, I was already checked out long before the proceedings began.
