Need Tips on How to Get My Dog to Stop Barking

My husband and I have two small dogs. In general, they are well behaved and good company for us and the kids. However, since they are small, territorial dogs, they have been barking a lot. We need some tips on how to stop dog barking. We know that our neighbors are getting annoyed with our dogs. Every time they hear even the smallest noise, they start barking. It has even been getting on my kids’ nerves lately. I have been looking online to see if there is some behavior modification that I can do, or if there is a product that I can buy to help.
