Treating Colitis

By admin | January 29, 2008

Ulcerative colitis is one of the most common problems that people have with their colon.  Unfortunately, this disease is not readily treatable by any surgical means. it is common in men and women alike and it can have symptoms such as rectal bleeding, bloating, diarrhea, fatigue and mucus in the stool.  Unfortunately, there is nothing that can really be done to treat colitis at this time. Not even Colon Cancer Surgery.  If you are careful not to eat the things that cause your colitis to flare up, however, you can keep it under control to a certain extent.
