Mom’s asthma relief

By admin | November 18, 2008

I remember as a boy having what was called asthma attacks.  I would be short of breath and tend to pant when trying to catch my breath.   My mom’s favorite herbal asthma relief was honey.    When I would start to show signs of asthma she would break out the honey jar and make me breath the fumes.  I would also have to take honey three times a day dissolved in water.   I did not mind that as it tasted like sugar water.    Another remedy that she liked was to have me breath steam.   This worked too and would seem to open up my lungs so that air could get in.
