Are Indoor Grills Any Good?

If you rent or live in a condo or other type of facility that does not all for open-flame cooking on your patio or balcony, it seems there are many different indoor grilling options availble. But are indoor grills any good?
People who care enough about the taste of their food will argue that the Best Cast Iron Grill is one that is heated with high pressure gas like propane or natural gas (some will even say that charcoal will also do the trick)… but electricity? It seems impossible.
Yet Goerge Foreman has made a fortune with his grills and they get their power from an electric socket. People swear by these things.
