The only reason why I’d recommend Vodafone coverage is because they are probably the least worst of the range of poor mobile service providers in the UK.Signed up on Vodafone’s website, no sign of HTC Desire after 3 weeks. Tried to cancel but couldn’t “because order was in progress”. Received phone a week later and returned it straight away via Royal Mail special delivery. Weeks later I find myself with a bill. Contacted Vodafone, sent to all different departments, each claiming the other had responsibility. Then said file was corrupted and couldn’t open the PDF file. Sent it again, and eventually they admitted that phone was indeed received, so contract will be “cancelled as soon as pracitable”. Gave me a £20 credit as “to cover any line rental charges and as a gesture of goodwill”.
