Affordable Internet Service
By admin | September 2, 2010
DialUp Internet service uses a home’s telephone line to connect a personal computer to the Internet. While it is slower than an Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL or DSL), it is also very inexpensive. For people who use the computer infrequently, who do not receive many emails or download large files or software programs, dial up Internet service will meet their needs. Usually, using dial up service requires a separate modem, which can be purchased from an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Getting set up is as easy as connecting the computer to the modem, and the modem to the phone jack.
