You wrote it — now promote it!

Have you recently developed a squidoo lens to promote a website, forum, or affiliate product? Many people seem to think that that’s all there is to it — simply build it and they will come. But that’s just not true at all — now that you have produced your new lens, you need to take some time to promote it. There are many ways to do this including blogging for backlinks, submitting articles to article directories, using social bookmarking sites, leaving links in various forms, commenting on blog postings — all the ways that you would promote any other website.
