Varying Cost of Nursing Programs

There are so many types of nursing programs that I have no idea which one a newcomer to the field should start with. Obviously the master’s and clinical doctorate programs will be more likely to land you a higher paying job, but those programs also cost more, in time and money, that must be invested. I have also found great differences in the cost of similar programs among various institutions. Why are the costs so varied? Is it an indication of the quality of education or just a red flag that you may be paying too much for the same education?
