Need To Raise Your FICO?

By admin | January 28, 2008

Need to raise your fico score?  Not sure what that is?  It’s more commonly known as your credit score.  It’s a method of determining your credit risk that was developed by Fair Isaac Corporation – FICO - for short.

If you get one of those free credit reports, then you’ll notice that there is no numerical score on the report.  That’s because your credit score is not the same as your credit report, which is a common misconception.  Your credit report comes from three companies, Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union.  Your credit score is a numerical score based on these reports, which is done by Fair Isaac, and this is what your credit score is.  While there are some credit cards that will actually tell you your credit score every month as part of the perks of membership, the site where you can get this number is MyFico.com.
