LPN jobs compared to CNA jobs
By admin | May 30, 2008
You often have to start at the bottom in the nursing field. What does that mean? Well the rungs of the ladder usually start with CNA or certified nursing assistant. This position is responsible for non medical help with patients and you’ll find them quite often in nursing homes and hospitals.
They help with things such as dressing and feeding of patients and aid the nurses in whatever they need.
An LPN or licenced practical nurse is next up on the ladder and gets to help with medical care such as passing medications and taking vital signs for the patients.
Many work as a CNA while taking school to get their LPN certification and can walk right into LPN jobs from there.
