Goodbye New York, Hello New Opportunities!

I have lived in New York all my life. It really breaks my heart to leave this place. But life must take place somewhere else or I will get stuck. I have a doctorate degree in my field, but my research has been put on hold because of the lack of funds. I have had the hardest time looking for a job ever since. Imagine, a PhD having trouble finding work?! I recently got an offer to teach at UCLA. It is a new horizon, but it is better than doing nothing. My belongings have just been picked up by ABS moving New York. I leave in the morning. I have mixed emotions.
