A chief clinical officer is responsible for providing vision and leadership to an organization for all its healthcare and patient-care issues. He or she also provides management and oversight of the healthcare staff and clinical resources, while ensuring that the unit in question excels in patient care and meets revenue forecasts. The applicant is also responsible for strategically handling any public relations issues that may arise and for advising the management on growth.
