Stolen cars
By admin | November 15, 2008
The rate at which a car is stolen in America is baffling. They say that ever 3 seconds a car is stolen and a car can be chopped down to parts within minutes. The thieves make more money selling the car in pieces (not to mention it’s safer for them) than trying to sell the whole car. When you buy a car that has been salvaged you may be purchasing a car that has stolen parts. The vin number should match up with the car’s engine, body type and style. You can tell alot from the VIN number and its always valuable to do your homework before purchasing a car even from a dealership!
