The reason I bought a conga drum

When I was a teenager, I bought my first conga drum. The reason I bought this drum, was because I wanted to be in a band. And to be in a band you had to have your own instruments to play. So, I bought a drum. Owning my own drum meant I had a stake in it, a stake in the music. And once I got into my first band I never looked back. All of the hours of practice, all of the fun jam sessions, and all of the great concerts. Who could have asked for more fun, and it’s all because of my drum.
