Buying Your First Electric Guitar

If you have decided to learn how to play the electric guitar the first thing you need to do is buy your electric guitar. There are numerous styles, models, and makes on the market and everyone is going to tell you to buy this make or that. As a beginner guitar player you can get away with purchasing an inexpensive guitar to learn on. Go to your local music store and try a few out to see which one fits your hands and body comfortably. Once you have learned to play you can then go back and buy a better one. My preference in electric guitars is Fenders, but you may like a Les Paul or a Gibson better.
