“Beautiful Eyes” is Billboard’s top country music album

Taylor Swift’s album “Beautiful Eyes” is Billboard’s top country music album for the week of July 28th. A Wal-Mart exclusive, 45,000 units were sold of this album last week. “Beautiful Eyes” features two previously unreleased songs and alternate versions of several others that were on her self-titled debut album. She beat out her own debut album for the number one spot. “Taylor Swift” is still number in the rankings, ahead of the new Randy Travis album “Around The Bend.” Taylor Swift will sing her new song “Change” at the Olympics in China later this summer, however this is unlikely to be a political statement about the “change” need in the People’s Republic.
